AboutPerfil

LTC Productions is led by Lamont Couch, who performs every engagement personally.

Lamont Couch has spent more than twenty years in public affairs, community organizing, and dispute resolution, across congressional, state agency, nonprofit, and federal settings. The through line in all of it is the same problem: an institution has made a decision, a community has to live with it, and somebody has to make that exchange work in both directions.

He holds a Master of Arts in International Peace and Conflict Resolution from American University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Spanish from Western Illinois University, and is completing a Ph.D. in Conflict Analysis at Nova Southeastern University. He is a veteran of the Illinois Army National Guard and is fluent in English and Spanish, orally and in writing.

ApproachEnfoque

Outreach is often treated as a communications function: produce the notice, hold the meeting, log the comments, move on. That works until the moment it matters, when residents are genuinely angry and the meeting stops being about information.

Those moments are conflict management, not messaging, and they are what this firm is built for. Mediation training means sitting with an unhappy constituent, understanding what is actually driving the complaint, and working toward something both sides can live with, without losing the room or the schedule.

The second commitment is language. Outreach in a community that speaks Spanish, conducted only in English, is not outreach. It is a record of having tried. Every engagement here is available in both languages, delivered directly rather than coordinated through a vendor.
